The Why Not Him? Employer Pledge
On behalf of our company, we pledge: We will work to make our employees and their families economically indifferent between male and female permanent contraception, so their decision is based on what's right for them, not on what's covered.
In joining, we commit to:
- Review what employees pay for a vasectomy compared with female sterilization on each plan we offer
- Raise closing that gap with our broker or carrier before our next plan year
- Share Why Not Him? resources with employees, for example during open enrollment
- Confirm our participation once a year
We'll choose the approach that fits our plans with our broker and tax advisor. Employees will never be directed to a specific provider.
